If you meet the qualifications and wish to become a police officer with any of our departments, you must first take our Regional Entry Written Examination. The exam is a general knowledge examination covering basic math, reading, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and the ability to follow directions. The exam process takes approximately one and one half hours from start to finish.

Upon registering (as shown below), you will receive a letter stating the date, time and location of the next available exam. We will then ask you to return an enclosed registration form and a certified check or money order in the amount of $50.00 to us.

NOTE: Presently, it takes one to three months for scheduling.

We are currently conducting these exams during the months of September through June.

To register for an upcoming entry written examination, please send us a self addressed 65 cent stamped business size envelope to our office. We will schedule you, according to receipt of your envelope, for an upcoming entry examination and return all pertinent information such as date, time and location of this exam to you in the envelope you provided to us. Wait time is approximately one to three months for scheduling.
