The Law Enforcement Council of Connecticut, Inc operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity, dedicated to advancing the effectiveness, professionalism, and well-being of its member agencies. LEC is governed by a Board of Directors composed of  law enforcement professionals with decades of combined experience and is recognized as a leading resource and advocate for law enforcement in Connecticut.

LEC receives approval for New Basic Recruit Academy class scheduled to begin Monday June 5  at the LEC Eastern Regional Police Academy in Norwich.
